Who are we looking for?
You are a passionate nurse who loves working independently along the most beautiful coastline in Belgium — from Knokke via Blankenberge and Bruges to Zeebrugge. You value freedom and responsibility, but don’t want to lose your energy to administration or planning. You put quality care first and head out to your patients every day with conviction. Whether it’s windy or the sun is shining — and on the coast you know it’s usually windy.
- You are a qualified nurse and work, or want to work, as a self-employed professional
- You want to set your own working rhythm, in tune with your life
- You value continuity and warm relationships with your patients
- You are professional, committed and ready to grow together
- Experience in home nursing is a plus, but not required
What will you be doing?
As an independent home nurse with one of our partners, you visit patients at home every day to provide quality nursing care — in the picturesque streets of Bruges, the cosy neighbourhoods of Blankenberge or the chic avenue of Knokke. You work with a well-thought-out schedule that takes your pace and your patients’ care needs into account.
- You provide nursing care in patients’ homes: wound care, medication management, injections, tube feeding and more
- You build a relationship of trust with your regular patients and the people around them
- You work closely with GPs and other care partners in the region
- You report through our digital platform, simply and clearly
- You take part in team meetings and training whenever you wish
What you don’t do: answer phone calls during your round, look for your own patients or spend your evenings on administration. You can put that time to better use with a walk along the seawall.
